Simple Question

Was wondering if anyone who voted for Obama would be willing
to publicly declare that they deeply regret having done so.
At election time, I did not want to believe that the public would actually vote this guy in, but I was wrong.

Keep it clean and civil . A simple acknowledgement is all I ask.
Change your screen name if you wish.

America as we have known it is dissappearing.I suspect we are beginning to reap what we have sown.

God help us as a nation,
MLB

A man's pride sometimes is a hard thing to overcome. I doubt you'll get many responses. I voted for Sarah Palin and would do so again.

I didn't vote for Obama OR McCain because I am done voting for the lesser of the two evils. I voted, I just didn't vote for either of those two.

I don't know a single person that voted for Obama and regrets it. Not one.

I have been watching the news lately and find myself thinking that if I had voted for Obama, I think at this point in time I would find myself doubting my decision to support his agenda.

Usually I view the media as more liberal. But they are reporting this health care reform package as something of a hybrid that takes away our freedom of choice by imposing mandates and government involvement.

As for the lesser of evils, I agree that I had to vote Sarah!!
She clearly was a newcomer to a national stage, but I was willing to give her a chance , hoping for a family person to have input to a system so out of balance.

I guess my fear is that once we give up our free choice related to healthcare, what will be next. Remember the guy who ran on change gave us a headsup in his acceptance/ victory speech that it would take more than his first term to see results.
America was punked.

ouch

thats because most that voted for that fool are in the fools pocket..they bought his crap..lock stock and barrel.....and now that he is there, it would be to degrading to publicaaly admit such a grave error in judgement. no..they'll never admit it, but those secret opinion polls are telling the story...shall we say falling like a rock?

I quit voting after my 1st vote at age 18 eight years ago.

In MY eyes they are all crooks, liars and thieves.

And for those of you that get on here and say if you don't vote, you don't have any say... go shove it because for 1 neither party can muster up anyone worth my $1.00 to drive to and fro the voting poll and 2 when a politician wants something... they USUALLY get it whether the people want it or not!

For instance, did anyone WANT to be in IRAQ for 20 years when dessert storm started in the 90's???

I am proud to say I voted for McCain/ Paline . For the sake of my children I hope and pray something better comes along. We all are going to have to stick together to survive this rasheem. I also have to say, I would rather have eight more years from Bush than one year from obama... O . B . A . M . A One . Big . A$$ . Mistake . America.

voting

guys i don't you, but you need to re-think the not voting thing. by not doing your constitutional duty of voting, you are as big a fault of that fool being elected, as the guy that did vote for. a no vote, was a vote for him...no other way to look at it.just think of what your fore fathers would think of you not voting, when they laid down their lives so you could. yes, i'm 49, and have voted in every election since i was 18. yes i am from Georgia, home of the second worst President in history, mr. peanut. no i did not help him get in, i wasn't old enough, but i sure gave him a much needed boot in the rear to get him out. by the way, the worst is up there right now...all you have to do is look around. its the saddest sight i have ever saw. he has no clue of what he is doing, or how to do what he needs to do. i will give him one thing. he can read a good speach, but lord help his dumba** if the teleprinter goes out, and it has.it is sad guys, very sad for us all.

surprise result of simple question

This post has only been a few hours and I say thanks to all who have responded. But I thought some would have posted with
a little humourous regret that they had been duupped.
I can understand not wanting your name publicly listed as one who voted for Obama.

If you did, that was your choice. Thank goodness we still have the right to freely cast our vote as we wish.
Regardless of political persuasion/ philosophy, we are all in this boat together.
pat attention to what is at hand when election time comes around.
Educate youorself on the issues and know where your representatives stand. And for goodness sakes(and for a true representation of the people), VOTE.

Dupped?????

Obama's agenda wasn't a secret. He had it posted on his web site. I even printed his agenda off and provided to family members; they claimed he would never be able to pull it off. I warned about the dangers of no check and balances.

IMO electing Obama alone isn't the problem. Our government was designed to provide check and balances. The voters biggest mistake was voting in a Democratic House and Senate along with a highly liberal President.

If Obama's Health Care Reform passes, the American Government will join the ranks of Germany and France with how much our government will control the private sector. I fear that it will be a road that we won't be able to go back on.

I totally agree! For all those of you that didn't honor our vets who fought for our right to vote, why don't you move somewhere where there is already a dictatorship cause that is apparently what you want to live under. And oh by the way for you braniacs who the best comeback you can come up with is to tell me to go blow it out my a$$, why don't you quit being a lazy moron and do whatever you can to try to make this country a better place, whether that is voting for the lesser of two evils or whatever.

apples

I like apples. Not bashing anyone for voting straight Dem.
Just trying to make sense of the mindset of others. Glad to hear you are happy. As I posted earlier, we are all in the same boat.

As for voting the party of my ancestors, I reserve the right to make my own decisions and respect yours.

Thanks to all for being civil and not going nuts with namecalling and stuff.

I think the media covering the healthcare reform is stirring up alot of people like me that have not read the bill.

God bless,
mlb
