Lyme Disease
Here’s what happened to one of our dogs. On a springtime hare hunting trip to northern Wisconsin our dog contacted Lymes Disease. W took him to the vet for tests and that is what he was diagnosed with. His symptoms were like severe arthritis. He was down in the front end and could hardly walk. He was in great pain and when you picked him up he would cry out. We gave him a course of Doxycycline antibiotics for 30 days and let him rest for about 3 months and we are now back to trialing him again. They say this comes from a bite of a deer tic.
