just took the measurements off my truck and starting making it. Every truck will be different. Just winged it i guess, Had my dad help me make the frame of 2x2's and then i did the rest. Took about 12-15 hours i guess, about a week but didnt work on it to much at a time. Painting was the worst!! My advise if you would make something like it paint all the trim boards before you fit them and paint the box before you put them on so that you dont need to try and get paint inside the crack of the two pieces of wood.

Does each dog have it's own hole . Or does the dogs run together .
I built one ALOT like this but I have four dogs up top ; in their own holes and two on the bottom in their own holes. With a strike platform on top of the two bottom ones .
Does the box on the bottom run back UNDER the box up top .

Thats really nice!! Good job. Here's a paint tip I just learned that would be perfect for that. Benjamin Moore makes a part A and B epoxy paint, it's pricy but very rugged. It would be perfect for that box. Once it cures that wood will be better sealed than PT!

I just painted a poultry plucker with the stuff and it's awesome!

Yes, each dogs has it's own hole top and bottom. And yeah the box does run underneath the top one with runners for every shoot seperating the three runs. Dogs seem to rig great out of the top thats why i never set up a rail.

That Box

Looks like a dandy. You must be a cabnet maker by trade. Larry
