Have ?

I have a ?. I have got a 15 month old english pup out of glenn beateys stock, the pup will tree a coon but you have to practicaly walk him on top of it. He just dont hunt out but if he hits a track he can burn it up and is a hard tree dog that hates a coon. Is there anything i can do to get him to go and when do i move on. I dont have a old dog to hunt him with. any advise would be helpful.

Take the dog to a place where it can roam around and find a coon. You just SIT DOWN, do not pet the dog or talk to it, ignore it and when it gets bored it will begin to wander. There are plenty of other ways, I usually use several different methods taloried to the dog.
