Garmin question

I just got a Garmin. Until I get used to the Garmin can I use my Tracker Maxima with it? I thought I heard where the use of the two could harm or interfere with each other.

I think the interference comes in if your hunting with someone else who has a Garmin not the Tracker.

the harm comes if you use a magnetic truck mount antenna while having a marine radio on in your truck..they could possibly burn out your garmin..

Yeah the only interference comes if the collars have the same or close unit ID. Imply change the unit ID on one of the collars, touch them up with the handheld, and bingo back in business. We had 4 dogs out last night and had 5 collars turned on and didn't have any interference.
Enjoy the Garmin. It is wonderful!

Shouldnt be a problem. I ran a wildlife collar on my dog with a DC-20 for months before I got my fist DC-30 and had no problem. Since I've had my DC-30's my wildlife's have been gathering dust.

you'll get more interference from your bifocals and your walker.

Bifocals are one thing...... they were fogged up last nite and the walker is hidden in Ohio.....and this 50 something body still pounds the hills. Got home drenched from a doozy last nite. Thanks, guys. Gonna try out the new toy tonite.

Randy you can run both at the same time. But if your Garmins working right you will be selling your other tracker. Glad an ole hillbilly took care of you

When I looked at the Garmin last nite and knew she was 786 yards away in some of the nastiest country around......I almost threw the Garmin away. Thank you, Mr Leroy.
