Ive Got A Stupid Question??

IM ABOUT TO BUILD A KENNEL RIGHT BESIDE MY SHED.
WANTED TO USE THE SHED TO PROCESS A COUPLE DEER
A YEAR,SO I DONT HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE IT DONE.
I FIGGURE ID SAVE LATER DOWN THE ROAD IF I JUST
BUY THE EQUIPTMENT AND DONE IT MYSELF.

NOW FOR THE STUPID PART.....
I HAVENT NEVER HAD NO DEER PROBLEM WITH MY DOGS
BUT WOULD OR COULD THIS CAUSE A PROBLEM???
WITH DOING IT RIGHT BESIDE THE KENNEL????


JUST FOR A GOOD LAUGH I DONT WANT MY DOGS
THINKING ITS OK TO MESS WITH A DEER CAUSE
DADDY IS SKINNING ONE RIGHT IN FRONT OF
OUR FACE...LOL

ANY INPUT WELCOMED

na i dont think it will hurt them i know people who feed there dogs deer/bear meat, if the show interest let um chew on one and shock um and keep doin it till they dont show interest but i skin deer by mine and they dont pay no mind,

after you get the deer lifted, pee on the deer and then the dog and you should be o.k. or maybe the dog then the deer, i can't remember.

It shouldn't bother them. The last two years we have hung bucks in my uncle's shed which is about twenty yards from my kennel.

My pup grew up at my deer club and sniffed his fair share of deer at the skinning shed when I popped in to take him outside...so far we haven't had a deer problem. Like somebody else mentioned if they act interested it might be a good time to do some training with the shock collar.

Exposure is the key to having straight dogs. I train dogs in coyote lots. They get to see coyotes, fox, deer. I've had dogs treed in the lots before and have a coyote/fox race come by them.
Some will pull and some will stay treed. Makes for a pressure proof tree dog. Anyways the more your dog is exposed to deer it's less likely they'll run deer. Once they understand what they're supposed to do.
