Single Registering a Hound

Is it still possible to single register a hound? Can you register a hound that is completely one breed... say all Bluetick... or all Treeing Walker?

Can you single register a cross between (say) a Treeing Walker and an English? I thought this was impossible, but someone was aking me about this, and quite honestly I don't know anything about this.
