My buddy has been working my hound Glory pretty hard in the timber. She even got 2nd in her cast this past weekend..handler error. She is really turning it on and I'm proud to own her! She and Jade worked a really really cold track for about an hour and a half. I was amaized at the determination these two hounds put forth. I've not been on many hunts, but I have to say this is the first time I've seen the hounds work first hand. They were in REALLY REALLY thin coon. They were checkin some trees early on, but never fell treed and then when they finally treed on that cold track they had the meat! Glory was the leader the whole way. When we got to the tree Jade was so tired because she is out of shape she quit treein for us, but she was there when we got there treein. Glory is an amaizing hound. Thanks Brian for giving me the opportunity to get her and Todd for takin the time with her!!! Here are the pics....

I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I enjoyed taking the pics. This was only the second time I've hunted with her. Hard to get out much with a 3 year old. It was a hunt I'll always remember!

Thanks Laura! She is 4 and she's Sackett Jr. on top and directly our of Skipper on bottom. I actually co-own her with my friend Todd. I found her for us..so I got to name her! I've never owned one that hunted before..so I'm pretty pleased with her! I couldnt sleep after our hunt last night!

Heather, Thanks! I just bought Tanner a hound today. She is a 9 year old female and he LOVES her. I'm hoping he can hunt with her soon. I know you love the old gray faced hounds. I'll send you an email with a pic of her soon!! Or heck..I'm takin her hunting tonight..I'll just get tree pics and post them! I'm runnin on cloud nine. I was BIT by the hunting bug..BADLY!!! Someone needs to invent a patch for this..lol.

Hey Ry.....you given me the handlers error thing huh? Glory is a very consitant hound. Those boys in WV keep let'n those mountians grow, it just isn't fair. Glad you enjoyed the hunt, I did too. Its like what they say about fishing. A bad night out huntn beats any good day at work. Now Brian, you know she left my face out of the pic so you wouldn't feel so left out. Maybe next time.

Glory stayed home tonight. Todd took Trixie, I took Stella, and Chad took our blue dog Drummer. It was a great night to be in the woods. The dogs worked well even though none of them had ever hunted together. Our blue dog struck DEEEEEEEP (and he's supposed to be a close hunter..lol) on the last drop and Chad and I had to walk through the thickest stuff I've ever seen in my life!!! I was over down trees, under down trees...I got the female coonhunter award from Chad last night!! Here are the pics....

...You are insane! (kinda like us...) I still have the bottle from a little squirrel I tried to save (died with squirrel pox)... I can't imagine ever being able to let Wyatt back INTO our house if we brought any live coon in here...tought enough to live with him having basement cats!

Jarrod-I'm sure you will get to hunt with her! I can't wait to get you down here and show you some southern Ohio hunting!!! I think you'll like all our hounds..even though they are not BLUE..hehe.

Brian-Handler errors happen all the time. Heck I can't even call my own dog..still learning! Goin out with Peg Wed..can't wait to see her in action!! I'm getting the nice hounds before you do..hehe. Tryin to show you up!! Thanks!!!!!!

Todd- I can't wait to see what she will produce with Freeze!! Big houndy pups with Freeze's mouth and tracking ability!! Will be an awesome cross...not to mention the bloodlines!!
