off color beagles

I hunt walkers, and don't know anything about beagles.

I have seen bluetick and lemon beagles.

My question: is there a line of beagles that are colored up only black and white like the clover line in walkers or even more black like hardwood bean or bo jangles?

Black and White sometimes pops up out of the Branko line of beagles, I have only seen 3 of them personally, it is not a very common coloration. If you do some hard research & get in contact with the right people, I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for. I have also seen one or two for sale in the past on www.beaglesforsaleonline.com, you might want to check this website out. Hope this helps, Hunter Hall

Like timmy said,

Todd Morgan has always said black and white is not an UKC accepted color for beagles. I would suggest making sure you have alittle tan(brown) in there too...

I found a couple beagles a while back that were all black and white. I found them almost getting run over in the middle of main street. I don't remember the name of the guy that ended up taking them from me but he lived around Indianapolis, IN. Last I heard the female had pups and they were making good rabbit dogs. Here's a link to the add I had for them with pictures of them. I thought they looked really cool- but just didn't have any room or time for more dogs at the time.

Just talked to ukc. Breed standards say the only beagle that can't be reg is a solid colored beagle.

On the bench show test in blk n wht states that blk n wht is NOT breed standard So explain that.

The pics that houndsound posted the one has a little brown around its eyes it therefore could be registered. I can not see the other well enough to make the determination.

All Black, All White, or Black and White per UKC can not be registered. Black and White are the only Solid Colors in the Color spectrum.
