Whats the best age to start 7 way shots on pups?

Give the mother and the pups a shot just before weaning ... then give the pups another shot about a weak after they have been off the mother .... and once more about two and no longer than three months after that ... should be good to go then .

I usually give the 5 in 1 at 6 weeks (when I wean them), 9 weeks, then the 7 in 1 at 12 weeks old if they are still here. my vet recommends all pups to have a 7 in 1 shot at 16 weeks. she says the shot will not take effect on some pups (small percentage) untill they get that age.

Unless you have a problem with Lepto in your area don't give shots containing it. It can kill the pups.

I give the 5 in 1 to both the pup and older dog.

The 5 in 1 shot does NOT have lepto in it. That would be your best bet.
