We find a few Indian artifacts. The other day while fishing we came across a Mastodon tooth. See Below.

The glass

was beat by the plow or something. Glass that was available in this part of the world was very dark when natives who knew how to knap flint were still alive. Now volcanic glass is another story. Out west where Ishi was is a little different, he made lots of points out of clear and colored glass but he came out of the woods in the early 1900's.

GOOD INFORMATION

I REALLY LIKE TO HEAR EVERYONES INPUT ON THE ARTIFACTS FROM THEIR AREA. WHAT I FIND REALLY NEAT IS THAT ALOT OF THE MATERIAL FOUND THAT THE STUFF IS MADE FROM IS NOT NATIVE TO THE AREA, WHICH MEANS IT WAS TRADED FOR AND JUST CARRIED IN FROM FAR AWAY PLACES. NOMADS SO TO SPEAK. AND WE THINK UPS IS SLOW. LOL ALL CONVERSATION ABOUT ARTIFACTS, THE PEOPLE THAT MADE THEM ETC, IS WELCOME.LETS HEAR AND SEE WHAT YA'LL GOT AND HAVE TO SAY ABOUT IT. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME. PERRY VESELY HANOVER, IL.
