Houses Lipper and Rat Attack! What to breed to next?

I have bought a gyp that is a daughter of Rat Attack and on dam's side she is a great grandaughter to Houses Lipper! It will be a few months before she is in heat but I am trying to get a decision made on breeding. Wipeout dogs and Skuna River Bark are pretty close! Trackman is pretty close, but at $500 a pop, I don't know! I am wanting a Grand Nite Champion with everything paid so the pups will be eligible for everything. I also would like to keep some old blood in them, it won't last forever. What would yall recommend to go with her pedigree???

Clover has always crossed well on Lipper, and more recently Rat x Clover crosses seem to be working as well.

If you're looking for something that crosses well on Lipper and Rat, and like some old blood as well... Clover seems like a no brainer.

Now picking the right Clover stud might be the real question, lots of nice ones around.

Clove would be a great choice. But, you know when I get ready to sell the ones that I don't want to keep, the white dogs don't do as good as the colored up dogs!

i would breed her to hellbilly, zeb again or speck. in my opinion trackman is throwing tree dogs. wipeout dogs throw track power that WILL have a coon in the tree. and look at all the wipeout x tequila sunrise crosses that have made winners. your female wouldnt be too far off from that cross. wipeout dogs are winners that are throwing winners. give barry or sumner a call. they are top notch people

MUDDY650, LOOK AT IT THIS WAY........ WHAT IS YOUR GYP LACKING ? IS IT TREE POWER ? .......IS IT TRACK POWER ?....... I AM A WIPEOUT MAN TO MY HEART AN WILL HAVE MY WIPEOUT HOUND " GRNITE CH OUTLAWS WIPEOUT HURRICANE " AT STUD NEXT YR. BUT IF SHE NEEDS TREE POWER THEN WIPEOUT HOUNDS MAY NOT BE THE ONES YOU WANT. NOW DO GET ME WRONG THEY ARE GREAT TREE DOGS BUT NOT SO TREE MINDED. JUST THINK OF WHAT HOLES SHE HAS AN TRY TO FILL THEM WITH A GOOD STUD AN MAYBE EVEN MAKE HER STRONG POINTS EVEN BETTER. THATS WHAT I WOULD DO. JMO

There is a dog here in MS that is throwing some awesome coondogs. He is Bodock. You can check him and comments about him on the PKC board under the thread Hidden Secret in MS.

You could breed to GRNTCH Fallen Timber Tom-Tom, he goes back to Nailor and Lipper and he's throwin some awsome pups. He's paid up in UKC and PKC and best of all the owner would probaly breed your female for a couple of pups. I hunt for the man that owns Tom and here is a pic of one of the pups i hunt for him, Fallen Timber T.J. Magnum on the left, he's an awsome tree dog, great mouth, good looks, and started at a very young age. He's a NTCH with wins toward grand, pkc money won, and some akc wins and Fallen Timber L.T. Crash on the right, he's a good tree dog with a great mouth, kinda open spotted but built really good, he also a NCH with wins toward grand and some pkc money won, both are about 2 1/2 yrs. old.

Come on down to Yazoo and let "The Dirty Rat" or one of his pups help you make your decision. Sackett blood at its finest. Whatever you breed to you owe it to yourself to hunt with the stud and check his pups out!! Good Luck in your search!!

Look in May issue American Cooner or Coonhound Bloodlines Walker issue or the 2008 Walker yearbook. Sackett Jr. on top and bottom
