Snakes and rats

My kennel Is on a four Inch concrete slab, the rats dug a hole under the slab and made a home. went to feed the dog and a snake had It's head stuck out of the hole. my problem is can't poison the rat, and don't know how to get rid of the snake.

The rat is living on 26/18 for free, and the snake Is probably trying to live on the rats.

Any one got any suggestions, would appreciate.

What kind of snake is it? If it ain't poisonous, leave it alone and your rats will eventually go away. If it is poisonous, get a mongoose or a kingsnake or a garden hoe...LOL!

Keep you dog food in a sealed container and when you feed the dogs don't leave food in the pan. If they don't eat it all then put it away. If the rats can eat they will move on.

Black snake

If it's a big black snake and doesn't have a viper head it's a GOOD snake & will eat ALL the mice.

beer

put some cheap off brand beer in a pan or somthing n they will drink so much theyre stomachs burst. but if you dont want to waste beer lol let the snake eat em or just poison em with the blue extermenator poison that way theyll die real fast. thats what i do and never ever had a dog get poisoned. dont use poison from the store its too weak.

What I did was put road gravel around the slab and ran it about a foot out. The neighbors kennel has the same problem except there's holes all the way around it.
