TX State Hunt

I was wondering if anyone was going to the Tx state Hunt. Is it still as big as it used to be.

I won't be hunting, as I'm still stumbling my way through club-level hunts, not nearly ready to handle in a purina sponsored hunt, but the coonhound crew will be there in full force for the bench show. We will have a dog in every category (male and female reg, ch, and grand), actually we will have two registered females of our own, and also handling an additional registered female and a ch female for someone else.

Lynn I don't even know if I am ready for a Purina Hunt either. I hope to get lucky. That is a long trip back to South Louisiana without that trophy in the back. I guess I better prepare for the long Haul. Hope to see you there.

Will be there

and no it's not as big as it used to be.It used to be one of the biggest hunts there was anywhere, hunting around 650 dogs in two nights but it's not that way now.Probably about half that now but it is still a place to have lots of fun and meet up with some old friends and make some new ones.
