huntin light batteries

I over charged my new Nite Lite 9v Hot Lite battery and ruined it. Nite Lite wanted $140 for a new one. I took the batteries out and matched to some at ALL-BATTERY.COM and got them for $20 I also got a smart charger to prevent future over charging for another $22. These are the best prices I've found and thought I'd pass the info on. I do have to solder the six battery tabs to each other but at $120 savings I can live with that.

not all battteries are equal ---always check the AMP HOURS --the higher the better -----it like using a motor cycle battery to start a truck ---they both are ---[[[12 volts]]]]]

The Nite Lite batteries are 4000 mah. The replacements I bought are rated at 4200 mah. They will last a little longer in the woods. I'll never buy another light. I'll build my next one. I do have a back ground in electronics though. I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you no what you're doing. On the other hand it's not exactly rocket science either.
