knight and hale

my son went on a trip to illinois and bought a knight and hale coon squaller and every coon he squalled at came bailing out.on a comp hunt he and the other hunters were shining a tree with no luck. my son squalled and 3 coons bailed out right in front of us. one was hanging 10 ft from me. of course he lost it in the woods a few months later

Mity Max

I carry a Mity Max. I never get them to jump out, heck, I sometimes don't even get them to look. But, I feel Mity Max is about as good as any out there.

Zepps here too.

We have had several try to come down during training season. Now that we've figured out what works, we'll use it during hunting season.

i am convinced that its how you use them more than what brand you use.i also beleive that one may suit your style of squalling more than the next.one that works for me might be worthless for you and vise-versa.

I just use my mouth and have had a few jump out and about all of them will look. If you just cap your hand over your mouth and suck in you will be suprised how much it sounds like a coon. After alittle practise you can sound just like them squallers and you won't even get a ticket for having a squaller out of season in Tn.

primos

my uncle gave me a primos squaller he got from somewhere and every time i blew in that thing the coon would bail out or just walk down the tree. i've had them bail out with alot of my other squallers but not like that primos. i've got two of those big plastic zebbs squallers they sound good but i haven't used them yet. i droped my primos and it broke so i've bee using a purple mity max it will make look but i liked the close ups i got with the primos wish i could find another one

I used a Timothy Ball for years, but recently switched to a Zepp's.

But the best I ever saw is an old guy back home that I used to hunt with a lot, and still do from time to time when I am back there. He can make more coon look or kamakaze with just his mouth than anybody I ever saw with any kind of squaller.

He has tried to teach me, but I can't do it like he does it.
