I use!

Liquid smoke about 2 Tablespoons,A-1 Steak sauce about 4 Tablespoons and a bottle of Kraft Honey Bar-B-Que sauce for my marinade. I use the breast meat only and leave it in the marinade for 24 hours usually in a zip lock bag. Then throw it on the grill.

NO. NO. NO.

IT'S OK TO MARINATE DEER OR A GAMY MEAT LIKE THAT.

BUT WILD TURKEY IS A SUCCULENT MEAT THAT NEEDS TO BE BABIED AND SAVORED!

HERE IS HOW WE FIX OURS, AND IT IS WONDERFUL:

YOU NEED:

TURKEY CUT INTO STRIPS
FLOUR
3 EGGS BEATEN IN A BOWL
SALT AND PEPPER
BUTTER

FIRST, ADD A LITTLE SALT AND PEPPER TO THE FLOUR
GET SOME BUTTER IN A PAN AND GET IT MELTED AND HOT, BUT NOT BURNING
TAKE THE TURKEY STRIPS AND ROLL THEM AROUND IN THE EGG LET IT DRIP FOR A SECOND
THEN ROLL IT IN THE FLOUR AND PUT IT IN THE PAN OF BUTTER

DO THIS TILL THE PAN IS FULL KEEPING AN EYE ON THE 1ST ONES PUT IN, IT WONT TAKE LONG FOR THEM TO COOK.

WHEN THEY TURN GOLDEN BROWN AND ARE STARTING TO GET A LITTLE CRISPY FIND A BIG ONE, CUT IT OPEN AND CHECK TO SEE IF IT'S DONE.

TRUST ME, THIS PRESERVES THE WILD TURKEY FLAVOR AND IT IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

SERVE WITH A BIG PAN OF FRIED TATERS AND RAMPS, MAC N CHEESE AND BISCUITS.....MMMMMMMMmmmmmmm GOOD!

Take your knife and make cuts accross the breast. Then take slices of bacon and pin to breast with toothpicks and bake. The bacon will keep your turkey from drying out and the flavor is delicious.

You can get a kit with a big syringe and inject a marinade right into
the meat in different spots.
