How to save a litter of newborn pups!

My buddie had a litter of pups a few days ago and there mother had a infection and didnt have no milk. So the vet said he had to bottle feed them for the next 5 weeks. The vet sold him a can of high doller milk replacer and sent him on his way. I tryed to help him with the pups and we couldnt get them to drink. They acted like they hated the milk. So right before the pups were about to die we found this website http://leerburg.com/bottlefeeding.htm This guy has the the best homade milk replacer money can make!!!!!! These pups went after this stuff like they were CRAZY! They are all doing REAL GOOD now. I just wanted to share this website with you all in case you ever got to do some bottle feeding. This stuff makes bottle feeding easy!!!

Good luck and read this.

A friend of mine that's a collie breeder gave me that recipe a couple of years ago, Jesse. You're right, it's the BEST! Puppies do really well on it and they really do like it. I haven't messed with commercial milk replacers since.
