The Coonhounds definitely made their mark this past weekend at the Carolina Classic conformation event in Hickory, NC. Coonhounds took home 6 group placements total for the weekend, 3 Group 2nds, 2 Group 3rds, and 1 Group 4th with 5 Scenthounds represented.

Our Okeechobee Joe brought home 2 Best of Breeds and 2 Group 2nds. He is 1 win shy of his CCH title. The female we currently have the pleasure of showing, Indian Ridge Sweet Revenge (owned by Kimberly Ireland) brought home 3 Best of Breeds, a Group 2nd, and a Group 3rd, finishing her Conformation Champion title at this event. Our friends Brandon & Leigh Tedder took 2 Best of Breeds, a Group 3rd, and a Group 4th with their Preacher Man male. Their pup off Preach, Simon, won Puppy in both shows and did very well for being 9 months old.

The current #1 Beagle in UKC, Eve, took home Group 1st in all 5 shows, and man, what a nice Beagle she is! It's never a bad feeling to place behind her!
