Are coonhunters afraid of politicians?

In addition to the nationwide HSUS/PETA attacks with a frightening variety of bills that would totally eliminate hunting, hounds AND the right to "own" ANY animals, we now have the "CREATURE CAUCUS." This is a Congressional Animal Protection Caucus co-charied by US Reps. Jim Moran (D-VA) and Elton Gallegly (R-Calif.) with the blessing and published support of HSUS and HSLF.
Look up the supporters of the "new regime's" additional arm reaching out to choke us from existence and contact your state's reps objecting to the radical AR laws being proposed nationwide. Remember, HSUS/PETA goals are ZERO ANIMAL OWNERSHIP (of any kind).
I'm going to Austin 8 April & have appointments to meet there with my district's reps. Texas RPOA has arranged 8 April as Texas RPOA LOBBY DAY. These are being set up nationwide to combat the nationwide HSUS Lobby Days. If we fail to act, there won't be anymore Autumn Oaks or ANY hound events.

Hunters aren't afraid of politicians. The problem is if something isn't perceived as a direct immediate threat it doesn't concern most individuals.

The fact that many hunters or just outdoorsmen are typically strong individuals with strong personal sense of responsibility makes most more private individuals than public individuals.

Private individuals + no perceived immediate threat = apathy.

Defn. apathy = lack of interest or concern.

Hunters afraid, absolutely no way, but they are typically apathetic to issues they perceive as no immediate threat.

The problem is the method of choice to eliminate outdoor life style is to slowly chip away at our rights until it is too late. Anti's are using our own personalities to ultimately defeat us.
