Which day to breed????

Which day do you think is the best day to breed during the heat cycle? Thanks.

The reason I am asking is because I have a female that started bleeding two weeks ago today. I tried breeding her a week later on Friday, Sunday, and again today. She refuses to take him. The male is trying his best without any help from her. Today makes two weeks (14 days). I hope it's not too late.

I've always seem to help them get it done, but I reckon I'm losing my touch.

Depends on the female. We have bred dogs anywhere from the 7th day to the 20th day after first signs of blood.
We have one female that has to be bred by the 7th or you will be too late.
Most dogs around the 12th-14th day is when we get first tie on them so you are probably in good shape still.
Chris
