None of the final four dogs in the AKC world hunt are carrying a hunt title? It's not like making a Night Champion in AKC is tough....win five casts with plus points.

Is this a product of the "win one and your qualified"?

Kinda depressing for someone that supports AKC 12 months a year.

Joe, approximately 1/3 of the Top 32 were carrying AKC titles. Are you suggesting we make the dogs have a title before hunting in the World Hunt? UKC tried that years ago. It was called the Tournament of Champions and it was a disaster. The finals the last year had 9 dogs. It became the forerunner of their World Championship.

We realize the prize money and the prospect of a World Champion title draws dogs that do not usually hunt with us. But in the best tradition of the AKC World Hunt going back to 1948 it's always been open to anyone that wanted to hunt provided they qualified. I kind of like the idea of the best dogs in the country hunting our hunt no matter where they usually hunt on Saturday night.

But thanks, that is an interesting observation. At least it proves we are getting the attention of the boys that hunt in other registries.

And by the way, we miss seeing you down here. We don't hear much from you anymore.

Joe everything you said was true. When I got to the part about AKC in 1948, I thought now, there was no AKC World Hunt back then. Then he mentioned traditions. Didn't traditions sink the original ACHA? They don't hear much from you anymore. I wonder if they will hear even less now?
