I have never owned one simply becouse they don't sound like my style of dog so I can't speak from experiance. But from what I have heard and read, they are more trailing dogs that don't make a whole lot of trees. I have heard that they are alittle trashy but do fall off on a coon somewhere. Now this obviously doesn't apply to every wipeout dog but just an average description of the line.

I figured i would get good and bad and thats what i wanted... i like a hard hunting throw dirt in your face dog that don't boo-hoo all night on one track and has the meat!!!!!!!!!! not much to ask for huh. she also has nocturnal nailor on top&bottom good looking pup.. is this line early or late starters? she's 4mnths thought i'd let her grow up a bit maybe show her a hide or caged coon at about 8mnths...
thanks for the reply's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my five month old off of Moose and my Hanna female will tree a drag right now by herself. when you take her walking she will go off by herself smelling around. all of the litter mates to her are the same way. i had a gyp off Willie that would go DEEP and have a coon. that was her downfall with me was she hunted to deep. she would put up 3 coons before slowing down to smell one. she would keep the first coon track she smelled and tree it weather it was an hour or ten minutes. i have hunted with several wipeout bred dogs, and most have been independent coon treeing machines. i know in PKC there are SEVERAL of the top 25 all time money winning dogs wipeout bred. Even ole Hardrock is wipeout bred....on one side at least LOL!!!

Most of the Wipeout I hunted with are deep hunters that like to have coons. You here about them being trailing type dogs that trail too much all over because some of these dogs in other strains and colors pull up treed on a big tree and the handlers claim has one hidden while the Wipeout dogs keeps going, and when they tree they have them looking down. That is the truth!! I have seen great scores come in on Wipeout dogs numerous times.

My partner Jerry has purchased GRNTCH, PKC Gold Ch`s and PCH`S etc,etc to replace Threat where we don`t have to hunt him in these small hunts. Not that some are real nice dogs but NONE have been Threat. The closest thing to him as far as coon treeing ability is another Wipeout dog we have named Chopper.

Here is some things about Threat:
Threat is a hard, hard hunter that loves to be alone and he has his coons a high percentage. He usually has 100 and 100 alone. If 5 coons he strikes goes up trees that is 5 coons he has treed. I can call him out trailing, treed, or whatever and wherever he is and he will come. He absolutely will not growl, face bark, fight, look at another dog wrong or anything. Period!!! He does not run fox, tree possums, run coyotes, no armidillas, or anything but an occasional deer. He will fall off of it when he does. He will not babble hardly ever when pleasure hunting. He will on occasions for a short distance in a hunt when all dogs are excited on the leash to be cut. He will not go back to the same tree. He runs his coons to catch and has caught several. Theat and most Wipeout dogs I have been with has real nice mouths, and great locates.
Threat, Chopper, Hellbilly, Quick, Zeb, III, I have seen tree coons several times in style.

pups off of Threat has also scored scores like 800+, 600+, and 575+ at AKC World last night, and numerous other nice scores.

I can go on and on about Wipeout dogs.

The Thread about "slick treein Walkers" has just never hunted with many Wipeout dogs!

Wipeout are winners!!

Jason Fact is that wether they are Wipeout , Trackman , Harry or on and on . They all have good ones and bad ones. I did however find it odd that you would ask this question after you already bought one.?I believe you are going to find out already how this particular wipeout hound hunts. Let us know how it works out.
