Bocephus

Those of you that know me, know i have been looking for a winner for a while, i never dreamed that jody would even consider selling bocephus, but when he agreed to i jump at the chance to own this fine hound. Bo is a big hunting dog that is looking to get treed with a coon when and where ever you turn him loose. Yes he is just a dog and he does not walk on water, heck some nights he does not look very good, but most nights he operates like machine in the fact is that he gets struck and gets treed and is very consistent in what he does night in and night out. Rumor has it that there are several pups out there doing it right. I am not going to brag on them i will invite their owners to use this thread to tell about their pups i know some of them i have talked to are very happy with their pups and what they are doing in the timber.
At this time i would like to thank Jody Goodson for allowing me the honor to own Bocephus. I would also like to thank the men behind Bocephus breeding with out them none of this would be possible.
I would also like to say that Bo is not retired and he and I look forward to seeing you all at the hunts as time and money allow

Thanks

Jerry Whitmire

I hunted with Bo when he was young. He was very impressive, even at a young age. Super good mouth, quick locator, and a no pull treedog. Between his accomplishments and the pile of winners he comes from, I would say he could not help but benefit the breed. This is the kind of hound that needs to be getting bred for those wanting winners. Good purchase Jerry!!

Jerry, Congratulations on buying Bo. I have never had the pleasure of hunting with him, but his reputation of being a nice hound that is consistently in the winner's circle is no secret. I hope you guys do great together.

Bocephus

Congratulations on aquiring Bocephus. I have been hunting a 13 month old female out of him this Fall that I really like. She is the right kind for sure. She is out of Bocephus and Jeff Lovel's Dual Grand Dot female who is out of Pop a Top.

I bought him to hunt but he has bout 90 puppies out there and I'd really like to hear how they are doing. Feel free to post pics or videos tell how good they are doing or how bad. There are guys wanting to know how he is reproducing and need your opinions.

nice

Congrats on getting Bo! I've heard great things about him and his 2011 run was awesome. Any chance he will be at Ada this weekend at battle of the breeds? We're here for the weekend I'd love to lay my eyes on him. I own a direct littermate sister to him it would be pretty cool to take a pic with us and tge dogs. She's nice as well, basically needs a cast win to be Nitech and she is a Grch

I have a nice one I will be bringing to Bo when she comes in. This will be coondog to coondog. Should get the type I'm looking for out of this cross.

Merry Christmas and I'll be in touch.

ROWDY 'BIG COUNTRY' (BO X OXY)

ANOTHER NICE PUP THAT HAS DONE REALLY WELL FOR ME THIS SEASON. LOOKS, BIG TIME MOUTHS, AND BRAINS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON THING WITH BO'S OFFSPRING. THE THREE PUPS I HAVE BEEN AROUND ALL HAD THESE TRAITS. I AM REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS SPRING AND SUMMER WITH THIS GUY.

Jerry congrats. on getting BO. I have not hunted with him but heard lots of good things. We have a littermate sister to him (Dizzie) She won the Bluetick Side of Purina race last year. This cross has proven to be young starting, Natural coondogs. Dizzie as Bo in not perfect but do look good most of the time and is Split 90% of the time. I am interested in what has been Bo's best cross to this time. Thanks and congrats again.

Bo X Oxy--- Out of 10 pups at a year old 8 are running and treeing, that i have keep up with the other 2, I don't know about. One male in Neb.(only dog he has), was never hunted with another dog, From the age of 8 months to 12 months he has treed 60 coon by his self. The others that I have kept up with seem to want to do their own thing, as far as tracking and treeing. Everyone that has one likes them, sure enough a nice cross.

bo's pups

I have a male that's about to be 7 months old out of Bo and White Grass Sally. He's a good looking well built hound with a huge bawl on track and short bawl on tree. I like him a lot and have high hopes for him. He's a keeper.

Bar M, that's some good looking pups you have and the one with the big bawl mouth acts and sounds a lot like mine does out of sally. he wants to sit back off the tree a few feet when he trees the same way your pup is doing in the video. good luck with him and good hunting!

BOCEPHUS

Bocephus is now at our home in Skiatook Oklahoma. We have been hunting him every night and reducing the coon population in our area.
Thanks again to Mr. Jerry Whitmire for giving us the opportunity to own a fine COONDOG like ROWDY BOCEPHUS.

Thanks Kenny.
Candy has not come in heat yet. A friend of mine has her and we'll be breeding her to Bocephus if and when she does come in heat.
Bocephus is the only hound we own and he's all the COONDOG anyone would need.
Let's get together sometime and go hunting.
