hound hunting first time

i just got a walker male how do you tell if he is cold noise or hot noise.And what is better.I also have three other dog and all 4 rig out of the box.how do you get them to only strike what you want.

cold nose or hot thats the QUESTION?

well just depends on you and what you like.. to get them to strike only what you want well that takes lots of time....

hound hunting

cold nose they run a track real old hot nose its a real fresh track if you want them to strike bear or coon off of truck use real good straight dog that only strikes them

All i can do is keep working the dogs.I took my walker out sat. on cats he ran for 4 hrs.than lost it in a swamp.Next time.
