How long should a Light Last?

I have a Bright Eyes 21 volt belt light. The lable says it will be 3 years old in May and it really starts running down after about two hours. Is this typical? How long should they last?

Roger

I have had the same trouble with a Bright Eyes 21 volt. I use mine mainly as a backup light that pretty much stays in the top of the dog box. I have a 21 volt Competition and it isnt bright as other lights. I think I am going to try Bandit or Cajun out.

I have a bright eyes 28 volt,it lasted about 4 years. I had new batteries put in last year and its still going good. I would call bright eyes, if u still have a warrenty left, to see if they would replace them. I think the batteries are only covered the first 1 1/2 years so that's broubly not going to help but it cant hurt to try.

U can get them replaced around $100 thats alot less than a new light. hope this helps .

My dad had a Sunburst Eagle 2+II had it for 14 years with out a prob, other than a blown bub here and there, then the batteries finally went bad. Just figured it had served it purpose and hung it up...!
