Den Tree's ?????

what is the smallest hole that a coon can fit in. Had it come up in a hunt this weekend. The hole was a little smaller than a baseball, in my mind there was no way a coon could be in something that small. If it was april or may, I'd give it to you with kitten coon's out and moving. I know i'm not the next John Wick, so I thought I'd ask for some people input.

I'm not sure how small of a hole that a coon can get into but I have seen them sitting in a hole looking at me that I would have sworn they couldn't have gotten into.

yea, I have seen that before but, In that case you can look up or down the tree and find a bigger hole that the coon went in. That happen to me an my buddies one night on Fort Knox in a old Ceder tree.

a coon can fit into a pretty small hole. baseball size hole would not be a big deal. if you think i am wrong leave a hole that big in a box put a coon in there and see if it is still there the next day..

john there is nothing i'd of liked better than to minus that tree because my dog was not on it. but that was a legitament den. so i voted circle !! if my dog has a minus coming i'l be the 1st to speek up & say minus, if some one elses dog has a minus coming its going to get it !! same with plus, if i can find your coon i'll be the 1st one to give that dog its plus !! i'm not at a hunt to run around in the woods just cause i aint got nothing better to do. i'm out there to win & if i thought that dog needed to be minused i would have voted minus. if a coon can get its head in a hole the rest of him will go in there.
