Obamas' Crew At It Already-ammunition Control

Ammunition Accountability Legislation

The bill that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois and Indiana ) requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture a data base of all ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers.
Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded.

Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011 (Including hand loaded ammo.) They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every round so every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more!

If they can deprive you of ammo they do not need to take your gun!

This legislation is currently pending in 18 states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvan ia, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington.

Send to your friends in these states AND fight to dissolve this BILL!!

To find more about the anti-gun group that is sponsoring this legislation and the specific legislation for each state, go to:

legislation has been around for quite awhile, not a product of the incoming administration, but no doubt a threat, need to contact legislators and voice opposition to this and other such, has been a bill in illinois, did not get far, but will reappear....

its stuff like this that really ticks me off. back about 10 years ago, NY passed legislation to "fingerprint" every hand gun sold new in NY for a data base aimed at identifying guns used in malicious crimes. in 7 years, NO criminals have been locked up because of this "Great" database, but every year NY spends millions to keep it going.......

now the state wants to increase the price of ammo to do the same thing.... WOW, spend more of our hard earned money to make a few polititians sleep a little better at night, what a joke

Ok. Come on. Seriously?

They are NOT trying to take your ammo away from you. Read the legislation.

This is to track ammo for potential problems. They don't give two sh!ts about the average hunter or someone who buys a box or two a year for the wifes pea shooter.

This is also NOT the product of the incoming admin. This legislation has been around for a while now. Everybody is in an uproar over something that is meant to keep track of potential terrorist activity etc. NOT to take your ammo away.

Ya'll gotta relax a bit for you're gonna pop a vein.

This is one of the ways...

This is one of the ways it all begins. If you don't think it's a big deal, just review the history of contries like China, Russia, most of Europe, etc., etc....

Take control of the schools (already done), take control of the health care (mostly done), and control the weapons.

All it takes is for people to get lazy about defending their own rights. There is no shortage of lazy...but there is no excuse for any body hunting hounds to side with them and just give it away.

It is my opinion that anybody who whishes to live in a socialist society should move to one or keep quiet.

With the current leagal system, everyone is restricted to talking, it's just about the only thing you can do in your own defense (pretty sad). The other thing you can do is to exclude socialists from your life. Don't talk to them, don't help them, don't buy from them and don't sell to them. It's as simple as that. Everything is not alright and it's not OK as long as they are not directly effecting you...THEY ARE!

What's to hide people. I didn't read anywhere about anyone wanting to ban anything. They want to know where all the ammo is going. Like the guy said up there, they don't care about somebody out hunting. They want to catch problems early on before they turn into Waco or something like that. Obama was without a doubt the better choice for president and I'm glad we got him elected.

Sheep, it would ad $5.00 to the price of every 100 round pack of 22 shells. In other words, it would more than double the price of 22 ammo.
They know they can't ban guns outright. Plan B is to price the shooting sports out of existance.

It is only the beginning.... dont worry about coming through the front door to attack, just come in through the back, most of the time it is open anyway.

Dont ban the guns, lets just slowly work our way into banning the ammo. starting out with taxing the piss out of it and then put some measures on it so that the government will now know what type of guns every honest American owns. Its just another way for the government to implement more gun control. Now that the government knows what you have, when Obama decides to go after all the guns he will know what you have that needs to be taken. No hiding now.

Its just the beginning!!!!!!!!!

So I take it you have no problem with a bill that would effectivly double the price of 22 ammo?

It it'll keep something like waco from happening again, yes sir. I buy on average about 1 small box of shells a month. About 50 shells a month. Average. The point with it all is to combat terrorist, not ban hunting.

If by saying Terrorist you mean True American Patriots then I guess you are right. Because Obama doesnt care about chasing down his true buddies which are the terrorist we are currently chasing. He is in bed, so to speak, with most of them.

We are the only ones that Obama wants to combat!!!!!!!!

You are braindead if you really believe a tax on ammo will deter terrorists. You think a tax on airline tickets would have prevented 9/11? You think because you don't shoot much nobody else should either. When I was a kid my brother and I shot a brick a week during the summer. We mowed yards to buy them. And we weren't doing any hunting, we were just shooting. Up here it is called plinking. Video games have replaced that for most kids but there are still kids that shoot large amounts of ammo for fun. A tax that doubles the price of ammo could never do anything to prevent any kind of violence. It just prevents shooting sports from thriving.

Stupid laws and bans only keep the honest man honest. They do absolutly nothing for the criminals.

what's being taken away? Seriously? The thing doesn't say.......... " the right of all citizens, even convicted felons, to own 12 ak47's, 15 fully automatic uzi's, 10 grenade launchers, 8 tommy guns, and enough ammo stockpiled to kill every county and state police in the state you live in. "

I don't mean the price. I mean just the fact that they know who has what. That's what i mean. So like i said, what's to hide?
