I always plug mine in when I get home from hunting and then unplug it when its finished charging.

If you have a smart charger leave it plugged in all the time, its better on the light(thats what they told my father). If you have the other chargers they're only suppost to be plugged in for no more than 24 hrs.

How long has it been on the charger?

any ideas on why my charger has a solid red light instead of a blinking light?? it used to blink but now when i plug it in its solid red, Im not sure if its chargin or not. I dont want to leave my light chargin and it tear it up.
