Ain't Chicago a lovely little town? That's why I will drive way around it when I have to travel south. The air there smells corrupt to me. The politics there gets things done at all costs yo just don't want to know the details or care about ethics.

I live in IL and to me, today is a GREAT DAY. It has been a long time coming for him. Now maybe and I mean maybe we can get someone in office that will do something good for the state.

Soon to be ex-gov "blojo" is the 79th prominent elected official in Illinois to be arrested in the past 76 years. I never did like this guy, and really considered moving from the state several times. Now Im looking for the back door.
This entire state has always been run by the voice of Chicago, and lets face it, Chicago is right up there with the most criminal history of any major city in this country. Thats aside from the majority of the people who live there are the "squeeky wheels" who think there way of living should also be everyones in the state. If you live in Chicago dont yell at me, if your reading this you are more than likely the exception to the rule. You coonhunt.
I also find it funny his campaign platform has always been ending corruption in Illinois. O.K. Rant over....... for now.

up there in CROOK COUNTY, I MEAN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS. That kind of stuff has gone on for years up there. They are not IMMORAL, THEY ARE AMORAL (without moral sense) & thats the way things are.

Just wait, the show is just begining !!!! I've always said it that this state is run by the masses of Chicago and on election day you could not find a 15 passenger van for rent in the entire city, and many a $25 Wal-Mart gift cards were given away that day.

I said it before just wait, this type of polictics is NOW coming to Washington DC and you all better get ready.

This state is mind set on taking care of The big city, our roads are falling apart, our schools are crumbling, criminals run the streets, gangs walk the street with guns and honest people hide in their houses. Mayor Daley, good friends with Bag-Of _ _ _ _ as we refer to him and Dick Durbin, President Elect Obama, Senate President E Jones who help move Obama up the food chain in Chicago and Illinois are ALL MADE FROM THE SAME MOLD !!

Hold on tight, its going to be a ride to remember.

political corruption is a way of life in illinois, not just cook county, although they may well be the leader of the pack... jobs, contracts, board memberships, etc. are bought sold from one end of the state to the other, hiring based upon merit is unheard of in illinois, take a look at highway work sometime, how many working compared to watching, etc. yesterday saw a truck trimming trees with a bucket truck-contracted service, were six dept. of transportation workers watching-talking, one in a vehicle and the two flag persons, now sure that many-most work hard in DOT, but.... if Obama was not interested in who would replace him in the senate for obvious reasons he would be dumber than dumb, that he is not.... look around political corruption etc. is all over illinois, not just cook county, not a party thing either, fact of life in illinois, sad-but true...
