U read me all wrong. I did not bad mouth either u or your hounds. I said Mr. Walkup was a great guy and I sure as heck know that u are RAY. I just want to see these Plotts at the top of the leader board if they are capable. You had such a great standing going with ANNE in MI. so why stop. Bud Im sure is a good hound but he fits what I said ( PLOTTS DONT SEEM TO BE CONSISTANT) and lets face it consistancy is what we need as houndsmen. Especially as a top breeder. RAY youve always treated me like a gentlemen and I know that u are and, I dont believe u would lie about a hound. Ive found your word to be true on more than one occasion. I just feel the percentages with a walker or, lets say blutic, are way better in producing consistant hounds. MAYBE THE GUYS THAT HAVE THESE GREAT PLOTTS SHOULD SHPW WHAT THEY GOT IN THE HUNTS. I know the brindled dogs are outnumbered but name one that has statcher such as the Lipper,SACKETT JR, Nailor, LonePine,Yadkin,HAMMER,DROOP,UTCHMAN,ACE,SWAMP ROOSTER, etc.



P.S. sorry to offend my Plott pals U guys are great guys I just havnt had the luck u speak of.

Dave, this will lead no where good, you seem for some reason to think Anne has only won at home, wrong. She'll be in alot of PKC hunts again now that she's through her heat cycle. You don't like Plotts fine but reread what you posted and I think you'll see why I rebutted your post. I beleive that river rat is a friend or someone you hunt with alot and he made some irrational statements and you came to his defense.

Dave, I too own a couple of Walker dogs that can get the job done, so don't think I'm color blind, I was raised on redticks, blueticks and B&T's I like a hound of any color if its a coondog.

I'll end this like this, reread your post and if you beleive you didn't make any misstatements all is well. But exactly what night did you hunt with Buckeye Bud? And what night did River Rat hunt with Bud?

HEY THINKS FOR RESPONDIN. mAYBE i DID COME TO THE DEFENSE A LITTLE HARD FOR MY FREIND. hE WAS JUST GETTIN HIT ON ALL ENDS SO I BACKED HIM UP. iVE HEARD ATLEAST4 GUYS SAY ANNE IS UNBEATABLE ON A GOODNIGHT. i JUST WAS A LITTLE OUT OF HAND NOW THAT I DID REREAD IT. Dave, I appreciate you being man enough to correct the misstatements made. Come up here or go down to Johns in the fall when the leaves are off and take your best and see if you like Bud then.

Plotts are not for everyone, there are many breeds of hounds and curs for people to hunt. Myself I like a hound of any color that can get the job done and have a coon treed.
