Threw big dogs ,generally good looking and extremely hard tree dogs.
The knocks i have heard were, lack of hunt, sqeally track mouth, slicks...
All depends on the female he was bred to...............

I hunted with two littermates directly out of Nocturnal Nailor. The male was the best deer dog I ever seen. He would absolutly run a deer for 2 or 3 solid days. It was very rare to turn him loose and not listen to at least a 6 hour deer run. He was shocked for it. It didn't help. The female would run deer also but not nearly as bad. And she would tree a coon every now and then too. She would also bite another dog at the tree and start a fight.

That is what happens when you hunt a nice Walker dog with them SLOW moving blue dogs. If the Walker dog would have ran the deer it would not take atleast 6 hours. I have hunted with a dog right out of Nailor named Yadkin River Chubb, he won the Grand American a few years ago. Chubb would tree coon everywhere he was turned loose. He would leave the tree instead of fighting. He was HEAVY Yadkin River bred as his dam was a Duel Grand out of Chico and Dixie and Nailor was Yadkin River also.

yadkin man, i had Gr.Nt.Ch. Tree Dancin Slam, he was off Nailor and Tree Blaster's littermate sister all yadkin River. he was a nice hound every once in awhile he'd have a slick treeing spell but sure was a tuff hound.

I Had a male off Tar Rattler ( i know not off Nailer) but he is typical Nailer style, Heavy boned, bawl on track chop on tree...He was stout on the tree but not down right mean...he was although very aggressive over a dead coon...bout 65% accurate. Occasional opossum. no fast game

Had a Grnt Male out of Nailer and a Yadkin River bred female....Hunted deep, medium strike dog, big bawl mouth that was semi tight on track....Intense tree dog that sounded like he was blowing really bad when he treed (just his style as he sounded the same when u hunted by himself) Up on the wood chop/bawl/blow mouth on tree bout 70% accurate...larger hound/heavy boned as well..no off game
