Here's what i use:

My regular camera, which is 35mm. No zoom. with flash and Kodak Max film. It covers all types of light. This picture was taken with it and our hunting lights. Now, it's not really clear because it was scanned and is not a digital picture. But it's still good.

This is CH'PR'Clayton's Double Sackett Bull.

Now, this picture was taken with a Disposable Kodak Max Versatility HQ camera (or something like that!) and I had the pictures put onto disks so I could load them on Hunt101.com

This is CH'PR'Clayton's Rock River Rush

Brad

Can use point and shoot 35mm, Advantix, or digital. I have used both 35mm camera's and Anvantix. Both had autoflash. For point and shoot use at least 400 speed. I have used 200 speed but not as good. 800 speed is best. Make sure you use your walking spot on your light, keep spot as big as possible, do not use the brighter smaller diameter spotlight. Look at Dave Haughs night pics on his site or John Ferrari's movies, don't use the small bright spot like they do, doesn't show as well. Get fairly close. Good luck!

I have used a regular 35mm with flash and a digital with flash. If you try to use your light or spotlight make sure you have it way above the dog if not the pic will come out foggy looking.Look at the pic's on my web site most of the ones of my dogs treed were takin with a 35mm with flash and a couple are from the digital camera with flash.I use 400 speed in the 35mm but the higher the speed the better the pic's will be.

Sony Camcorder

I like to use my Sony digital camcorder to make my pictures these days. I have a Sony computer that came with all of the software to make a good quality digital picture out of any frame that the camcorder makes. So, instead of trying to get that perfect picture, I just run the camcorder and then choose the perfect frame and download on my "Smart Cature" software. I spent around $1000 for my camcorder but they have cheaper model that will do the same thing. They now have camcorders that automatically download the recordings into a mpeg format which can easily be sent over the internet. Instead of buying a new camera, I would reccomend spending just a little more and buy a camcorder that you can hook into your computer.

Heres a pic taken on my $130.00 HP digital camera. Cant afford no $1000.00 camcorder. If i could I wouldn't take it out in these swamps...... I figure just cut out buying a few rolls a film and developing and its paid for it's self. Just take it home and plug it in the puter. I can hold down the shutter button and it will take a 30sec movie clip. If I roll down the mountain and land in the creek, which I've been known to do....LOL I aint lost much.

Hobo:

You know, a good Doggie dentist might be able to fix that problem for her. Reckon those lips flopping around like that hurts? It sure looks like it would!! Imagin having your lips flopping in the wind and I guess you'd know how she felt.
