If I

had to go on a one night judgement it would be GR NT CH Waton's Buck hands down owned by George and Rob Wallen of IN. I judged this dog at Walker Day's in 1990 and he was as impressive as any dog that I have ever seen on a one night performance. The only thing that I regret is that I never got to hunt with him again. This comes from a dyed in the wool BLUETICK MAN that has never owned an English dog in his life.

P ch Tri Color Nowheres. Hunted with her 5 or 6 times and was always impressive! Likes to tree by herself with a loud mouth!! Reproduces like her momma. I will always be looking for a dog of that caliber.

That is funny someone just posted this question because I was just thinking about this question myself.

The funny part is I am having a hard time remembering the last time that I was truly impressed by one or a couple of good hunts. I just don't get as impressed as easily as I used too years ago. Don't get me wrong I have seen some very good dog work, but to truly be impressed it has been a long time.

I guess I am more impressed when I see a dog hunt at a certain level consistantly. I mean the dog that when you cut loose you just expect to see a coon night after night under all conditions.

There is one local dog that I have not had the pleasure to hunt against, but he does have the respect of most competition hunters I know and I respect their opinions. That is Stubby.
