That's great! Glad you're happy with it.

Don't have a clue what they sale for around here. We've never sold the hides before, may look into that in our area. Hubby usually doesn't kill that many, only a few each season. He is planning on killing some this season as he's wanting to learn how to tan hides. We usually just use the hides as dog toys.

We have a man from Louisiana that my husband works with, he pays us $10 a piece for the carcass. He's Creole and his favorite food is coon. Says nothing fry's up better! LOL. I'll take his word for it....

Hmmm, have you reported this to trapper girl? She'll knock their heads together for giving you less than the market standard of $40 per coon.

14 coon brought $42 in MI glad i took a few early when the price was good but your right it sure will keep the trappers at home...

A friend of mine hauled in 20 hides and got 200.00 for them. Im glad thats all he got. He thought 40.00 ea. this year. lol

$10.00 is enough for the coonhunters and wont be enough for the trappers ....should work out pretty good
