If you think things are bad now, just wait

If you think things are bad now, just wait

October 8, 2008

Dear American Citizens,

The upcoming election is the most critical election in the history of our nation. The very future of our nation’s foundation is at stake. Every person will be affected. If the liberals win, then our foundation will no longer be based on the traditional Judeo-Christian morality. It will gradually but assuredly be based on an ever shifting, ever moving foundation. If the liberals win, the damage can’t be stopped with elections two, four or forty years from now. America will forever be changed. We will keep seeing a gradual and growing hostility toward people of faith, especially Christians. The morals of our nation will continue to decline. Our children and grandchildren will pay the price.

In case you may think I’m a “the sky is falling” type of person, you should know: When it comes to predictions, I am a very reserved person. But not on this one. I cannot overstate the damage a liberal victory will do to our country. The upcoming election is the most important in the history of our nation. Yes, if the liberals win you will lose some of your religious freedoms and free speech rights. Churches and pastors will not be exempt. You will not be allowed to say certain things about a particular group. Every item of the homosexual agenda will be approved. All the laws protecting the unborn will be wiped away.

I cannot overemphasize the importance of the Nov. 4 election. That is why I urge you to vote and encourage your family members, friends, Sunday School class and church members to vote. America’s future – the future of your children and grandchildren – is at stake.

Sincerely,

Donald E. Wildmon,

I have no idea who will win. But after lastnites debates I think they all lie and try and belittle the other. Still scratching my head!

One question I would ask? Who is more for the middle class? Or at least says they are?

the fact that donald wildmon does not support OBAMA is even more proof that OBAMA is the right choice.

On Wednesday morning, John McCain's campaign released a list of 100 former ambassadors endorsing the GOP presidential nominee.

Second on the list, though her name is misspelled, is Leonore Annenberg, currently the president and chairman of the Annenberg Foundation and widow of ambassador and philanthropist Walter Annenberg. Ms. Annenberg was herself the "chief of protocol" at the State Department under President Reagan.

If the last name sounds familiar, it's because it also graces the name of the Chicago education board where Barack Obama and William Ayers sat in the room six times together.

I made to the first three words "if the liberals"... Not hard to figure out where its going from there.

I have a question for "Donald E. Wildmon". When columbus and his crew stepped off the boat in 1492 on what was to become the USA, how many Christians were there amoung the people that were already here? Because at this moment its about 75% of the population.

Never ceases to amaze me at the crap people come up with...

The economic mess we are in is all Bushes fault! I get so sick of hearing this, yes he does carry some blame but what about the congress?

I've been watching the news and I am hearing that these policies that have caused this crisis was started by democrats. Republicans did help some but when it started getting out of hand the republicans tried repeatedly to try and get a handle on it but were stopped cold by the democrats every time.

The ACORN group greatly accelerated the problems with the sub prime loans. Guess who was a leader in that mess? Your great OBAMA!

Who has a reputation for failing to vote, not voting for or against? Your worshiped OBAMA! Who has a reputation for declaring the day following a vote for standing up and saying "I mistakenly voted YES (or NO) yesterday and want to amend my record. (That does not change his vote but does change his record)? OBAMA! Who has the answers that you want to hear but if you check you find they are only promises, most of which can not be kept? OBAMA!

the last debate was more the same. i'll say it again, McCain had my vote until he picked his running mate. A man with the same credentials would not have even been considered for Rep VP. Why consider her? Get real, there are COUNTIES all over American that have more population than Alaska.

the demos were foolish to elect Obama as their candidate.

It will be another close race, that the American people will lose again.

don't believe that sexual orientation is covered in the constitution.. if that is a major consideration in voting, we have lost democracy... sexual orientation based on most current research indicates that it is a biogenetic influence and not a matter of choice, genetic markers greatly influence that choice, thus would assume whatever sexual orientation is or is not is part of God's plan, not that of man...

I have some questions for those who believe the Democratic Party is for the working man.

Have you looked to see how many Democrats are wealthy themselves? Have you taken a look at their families?

What legislation has the Democratic Party supported that has benefitted middle class in the last 10 years? That didn't benefit the Party and their agenda more?

Obama says he wants to keep health care through our employers. Yet our employers are having difficulty competing in the world market mainly due to health care benefits. So exactly how will keeping health primarily paid by employers going to help lower and middle class? I will tell you how. It will drive yet more jobs overseas.

Yep, that sure helps every one.

I know this is like talking to an animal rights activist because must Democrats I know base their decisions on emotion rather than logical thought, but here ya go there is No party in the United States for the working man.

I don't love McCain but I do trust him and the more I learn about Obama the more I distrust him.

I question Obama's compassion for the injured and dead. I watched the video of he and McCain at the 9/11 memorial. McCain carefully placed his flower while Obama Tossed his as he was turning away. When in Iraq he refused to visit the wounded when he was told that cameras were forbidden. McCain often visits the wounded, he does it out of compassion, not for photo ops.

If Obama wins I would love to show these post back to you in about 2 years and see if you think he is still so great.

Do you really want more government control over your life? do you really think that the government is better at running a business?

What separates republicans and democrats is not conservative and liberal. Republicans believe in less government interference in your life. Democrats believe that you are not smart enough to take care of yourself and that they must do it for you.

The right Choice? This election is not about choice. Its about right and wrong. good and evil. truely there is no choice. If you love America, love your family, and your way of life, there is no choice. there is only one way you can vote, if principles mean anything at all to you. America is free today because of strong principled men like Mr. McCain, who did his duty well, and never once denounced his country in times that he could have done a lot to help himself out of severe pain to do so. He has an American name, hertiage, and family. The other canidate is truly a supporter of our enemies. His record proves it. Don't take my word, look it up for yourself. TRULY, if you think obama is right, you are wrong. I just hope for your sake you can wake before it is to late for us all.

Jim Baldwin, Im glad I wasn't the only one to catch that! Thats funny stuff right there!

Its funny the Democrats, on here and in the news, always use negative words, very fowl language, and derogatory slogans to describe republicans, HOWEVER, when republicans describe democrats they use facts to back up why they view that particular person in a certain light. I have no problems if you dont like republicans thats fine it doesnt hurt my feelings just back up (with facts) why you feel that way, without going negative!

I think Bill(chew) and Robert sum it up.

Obama 931,000,000 in earmarks and a little over 930 days in office, that makes about 1,000,000 for ever day in office

Mccain 0 in earmarks and over 7000 days in office

HUH looks to me like Obama already learned how to spend YOUR TAX DOLLARS

SO OBAMA LOVERS keep the negatives, and the opinions with no facts to back them up, you inspire us republicans.

You need to check out your history for facts. To my knowledge Columbus never set foot on any land that was ever to become the USA. Maybe in later travels they stopped over on the FL keys or Florida coast but that area was settled by the Spanish much later. His first landing was named by him as the island Hispanola, now that is Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Lots of US dollars go there but it is not the USA.
You may be right that 75% of the folks in our country call themselves christian but I would doubt that very many of them let their faith affect how they live or who they vote for. I can stand in a garage and call myself a car but anyone who watched me could tell I wasn't one. Barack Obama calls himself a christian, good for him but I just don't see it.

And I’m proud to tell you, Chris, in 24 years as a member of Congress, I have never asked for nor received a single earmark or pork barrel project for my state and I guarantee you I’ll veto those bills. I’ll ask for the line item veto and I’ll veto them and I’ll make the authors of them famous.

McCain’s claim is false. In 2006, the senator teamed up with fellow Arizona senator Jon Kyl (R) to funnel $10 million toward the University of Arizona for an academic center named after the late Supreme Court Justice William Rehnquist. Even Arizona lawmaker, Rep. Jeff Flake (R), said he was planning to “lean against the measure.” The National Taxpayers Union, another traditional McCain ally, questioned why the senator was making federal taxpayers foot the bill for the center.

In 2003, McCain also slipped $14.3 million into a defense appropriations bill to
create a buffer zone around Luke Air Force Base in Arizona. As Roll Call reported in 2003, this project violated McCain’s own anti-pork rhetoric:

The only problem is the project to acquire more land near the base was not requested by President Bush or fully authorized by the Senate Armed Services Committee - two of McCain’s criteria for identifying so-called ‘pork.
