burning a youg dog out ?

I have heard people talk of this,,how many of you have known it to happen.

Then other people say hunt him every nite ,thats whats gonna make him.

He's 16 mo old ,gets hunted at least 6 nites a week,he finishes 90% of his tracks and 90 % accurate.

Do I keep pushing him or slack off?

At 16 months old, I would say you are "good to go"! 14 months and under I usually try not to push them to hard, always leave them wanting more. If they are tired or losing interest at ALL, it's time to head back for the kennel and maybe take 2-3 nights off.

From 15 months and older usually you will get tired and bored long before the dog does. LOL

Good luck with him.

if a young dog (within a reasonable age) cant take being hunted hard .. find another one, because theres a milion of them out there and chances are theres plenty of them out there that can handle it.
