"talked to my huntin buddies and got some ideas for you." also agreed on was if he is scared dont force him to go in try to get him excited and want to but dont pull him up there and try to make him get in when I first started i did that stupid me. pulled the dog to the tree when he was trying to go the other way hes a house pet for a guy acrossed town now. I learned from that one. 250.00 and the hound. anyway just some things to think about and try. hopefully walking him in gets it done. good luck
No he is not shy of other dogs, no dog will push him around he just doesnt go with them he is by hisself, when he does tree is a up on the wood every breathe tree dog, its just like he isnt sure of hisself so he want tree. I have thought about leading him into the tree with the other dogs but i wasnt sure if i should do that or not. He treed night before last with other dogs and had a coon, he was up on the tree with another dog and there was another but he sits at the base of the tree, so he might be startin to come back around.
any and all suggestions will be welcome because i am tryin my best to get this dog back in good condition, he is really loud, independent and accurate, so please help..
