 Gun Show News

I just read this news in the University of Michigan Record a publication for faculty and staff at the UM.

"Gun shows do not increase homicides or suicides."

A joint study between UM and the University of Maryland also proves that an increase in gun show regulations will not reduce the number of gun-related homicides and suicides.

Once again science proves what we have known all along.

More regulations is not the key to gun violence. We must start insisting that our local prosecutors start enforcing current laws.

If they would enforce the laws on the books they would stop most of the gun violence. A few years back Virginia started enforcing the excisting gun laws and it put many career criminals behind bars for years. I almost think the next administration backed off of enforcement but I may be wrong.

Many politicians don't want to stop gun violence because they use it to further their agendas.

but ur point is invalid, the study is invalid, the conclusion is invalid and the whole science angle is invalid (UM and the University of Maryland's science isn't scientific enough)..........

it is a well known fact that the use of scientific evidence to prove a point/case/cause can ONLY be used as a basis of proof when it corroborates the views of liberals on the issues of Global Warming, gun control and at what point a fetus becomes a life.......

any and all issues involving Global Warming, gun control and when does a life become a life supported by scientific evidence, that IS NOT concurrent with liberal views is a basis for argument only (NOT PROOF) and will be ignored......... anyone who presents these scientific finding will be dismissed as bitter Americans clinging to their guns and religion..... LOL


Good post Larry.... I agree with Dr. JiM, doubt we'll be hearing much of it in the news......

have been a gun dealer for many years in a restrictive state, illlinois... gun laws only regulate the legal owner-user, but have no effect on the illegal use...
research always attempts to be objective-factual and not subjective-opinionated-that is propoganda and not pure research... global warming does exist, not a liberal or conservative issue, but one of science where the preponderence of evidence supports that such does exist...
kinda like katie couric...
