I personnally use a 21 volt bright eyes. I
ve had it for 3 1/2 years and ive changed only one bulb. I'ts very light weight and has been a great light. When i replace it i will either go back with the same, or a MOONSHINER LIGHT. MOONSHINER LIGHTS are made about an hour from my house and are a really good light also, and a good price. As always JMO. Ronnie Hill

I have a valley creek. Good light but doesn't hold a charge real good. I also have had tons of problems with the little screws coming out of the little bracket thing. Gave up on them and put electrical tape around them. May just be my light on the charge, but I have to charge it every night. Sometime can get more than one night but dont really trust it.

I've experienced the same problem with the screws on my Valley Creek Light. In fact, I'm sending it in this week for the second time in less than 2 years. The control switch doesn't seem to hold up.
I wouldn't give up on them though, Valley Creek provides some of the best service in the business. Redgy and his crew are top notch to deal with. I have recommended Valley Creek to many people and will continue to do so. Not sure I'd buy another one of they're lights but at least its comforting to know they'll back up they're products with great service.

I am using a TREE DOG 21 volt light built by Jeff Hovious in Blue Ridge Indiana. These lights are very affordible and work great.

Valley Creek 20volt belt light. Same problem with the screw coming through the fabric, used electric tape squared piece as a washer and no problems since. And LOVE THE WALKING LIGHT ON THE BOTTOM OF THE SWITCH PACK.a must have.
Agreed great people to deal with. wont deal with anyone else.

is there a 20 volt belt light that you can run all night and not charge back up I've gotten away with two nights on the valley creek but walked back to the truck with.... a lil led light.(spare)

Valley Creek 4 me

I like my Valley Creek. Had no problems. Died on me more times than I care to admit, but this was my fault due to not charging it! But they were the third and fourth nights out without charging. OPERATOR ERROR

Seems like it always dies, when you dropped your compass and there are no stars or moon or a dog is lost (aka runnin a deer) and you are by yourself a mile or two from the truck! Oh yeah if your light dies you have to be in the middle of a huge thicket, and come out looking like you were in a cat fight of course with multiple dogs on the chain!

Being afriad of overcharging I wasn't charging it everytime. Hasn't died once since I bought a smart charger so I can plug it and forget it! OPERATOR COMPLIANCE makes a heck of a difference!
