If a club was to not give trophys for top ten what would be best to giveaway. Is it best to give top ten or top four? These questions were broght upat our last meeting.

Robert, I don't think you have to give trophys. How about stop watches, collars, leads and feed bowls. If you have a kids bench show how about medals.

trophies

At The Central Indiana Beagle Club in Coatesville Indiana we gige out a certificate for all dogs placing and a dog lead stamped First Place Registered, Champion or Grand Champion and Performance Pack or Hunting Beagle and date.

Everyone seems to like this program and the certificates fit in their binders and don't require dusting

TROPHIES

Hey don't forget the new guy to the sport may want that trophy. After you get a closet full anything even dog food is better than most trophies. But I would always want to have one for someone who wanted one?

I like the trophies but I really like the leads with the placing stamped on them. I think they are accually cheaper and they can be used which is always important. You could also print off a certificate for people who have a little trophy rack for thier dogs. Those look really nice and not hard to do. If you need help I can email the one we did for Ava last year and you can modify it to fit your owe purpose.

Please send me the copy of the certificate I thought about having trophys incase a new guy may want one. I know when I first started it was great to win one.

If you want a stop watch, leash, etc go buy one. Trophies are a reward you can place somewhere to remind yourself of lots of time and work. JMO
