Yes you read it right ......next years NHBA Sectionals (2010)!!!

After a very good start to the the year of 2009. The NHBA Sectional Committee is starting to look ahead to next year. We have grown by leaps and bounds and we are hoping that next year we will do the same. We thank you for supporting the NHBA and supporting the clubs that are holding these sectionals.

Be watching the NHBA website for the NEW application and requirements for next year. www.nhbadogs.com

There will be a deadline of August 31, 2009 for applications to be postmarked. The applications will need to be mailed to:

If you are in a state that has all of the sectionals(5) taken for this year I highly recommend that your club get an application in.

I will be at a handful of hunts in the next few weeks and you can give them to me there or I will be at the McVay memorial at the end of August.

This is for Hunting Beagle Sectionals Only.

I would like to make a suggestion to all clubs applying. Pay attention to the dates that are currently taken for N.H.B.A. Sectionals and coorespond them to next year.
If your club just by chance happens to be awarded a N.H.B.A. Sectional it would be beneficial to you not to hold it on the same day as another Sectional within at least 8 hours of drive time. We have already seen a couple of clubs have lower numbers this year due to another bigger hunt scheduled the same day.

The months of January and February are pretty much open and some of the other months only have one or two events scheduled.

There will be a Performance Pack NHBA series next year!!!!

We are working on it and should know more in a few weeks.

You have less than a month to get them. I will be at the McVay hunt and you can give them to me there but I would suggest getting them in before hand just incase there is something missing.
