couple of wise men said

Praise when the coon is there real heavy, leash up and jerk off the tree when no coon and walk away.

A very good friend had a walker bitch that was really tree minded and we confirmed in no leaf situations that she was slick treeing, but then some times she would have the meat. On the off chance that she was treeing squirels we shot one out, tied it on a fence and burned her when she went to it.

Result was a complete switch around and she got to be real straight, real fast and quit all the slick treeing, just a thought but if your dog has been tied or in an area with lots of squirels she may have been playing the game with them.

Hope it works out

Never again praise her up to much when treeing..Pat her once if shes got a coon and just tell her good job..Then whip her butt and send her on when she dont...NEVER pet her up if you dont see a coon.Even in the summer.. She already loves to tree.Dont need any encouragement....

Never judge a dog in the summertime. Never. Wait till all those leaves fall off and then make your mind up about her accuracy.
