Found Pup/Coshocton, OH

While running dogs Wednesday night along County Road 7 in Coshocton County, I found a female beagle pup probably around five months old or older. I will keep the dog for a couple more days, so if it's yours or someone you know, let me know! Thanks!

Dogs

When i run dogs off county road 7 and a beagle comes to my dogs. If i don`t know it . Or if it has know name plate on it. I take to the animal shelter. If i know it I return it to owner.

The pup had no collar, no name plate, nothing. I called the animal shelter, WTNS radio station, and have it posted here. The animal shelter stated that no one had called about a missing beagle.

Thats exactly what I thought pretty much from the get go. Why is a pup wondering around out on 7 with no collar. I mean I have ran with some guys who just strictly hunt and run no collars on their dogs for the fear of having them getting caught up on briars or brush, etc. However, to run a young pup who probably doesn't even know its name yet, and without a collar is non-sense to me. So yes, my opinion was that the dog was dumped.
