Bloodhound Hound Crosses

DO ANY OF YOU FOLKS USE BLOODHOUND CROSSES AT ALL FOR ANY TYPE OF BIG GAME HUNTING. HERE IS A PIC OF MY LITTER.
I PLAN TO KEEP ONE AND USE IT FOR RECOVERY OF WOUNDED GAME.

Is that what makes a majestic hound?

I also wonder if making the cross would bring out a really cold nosed hound with lots of endurance?

COLD NOSED/ ENDURANCE/ BLOODHOUND

I THINK THE HOUND WILL PUT SOME HUNT AND SOME TREE IN THERE ALSO. THESE CAN BE REGISTERED AS MAJESTICS.

BnT and she's a pretty female. Perry has them advertised in the "other" section and pix of the sire and dam.

They are Awfully nice looking. Of course I love Wrinkly long earred BnTs

Hope these pups do awesome at whatever tasks they get. I imagine they would be awesome bloodtrailers!

HappyHunting! Heather

By looking at the pups they do look like they're out of a B&T but I was surpirsed b/c Perry is a bluetick man.

I was also surprised when I first saw the classified. Then again Russ and his wife have a RED pup on the way so you never know when someone may cross the "color barrier" LOL..... or "Off Breeds" like bloodhounds!

Aren't they cute, Autumn? they should be Beauties later on too......

Have agood day, everyone, Heather

ABILITY AND SOLID COLORS

THE BLACK DOG THEY ARE OUT OF HAS PLENTY OF HUNT AND IS A TREEDOG AND I'VE ALWAYS WANTED A BLACK@TAN COLORED BLOOD HOUND LOOKIN TYPE OF DOG. BOTH PARENTS ARE SO LAYED BACK, THAT THESE WILL BE NICE DOGS JUST TO HAVE AROUND AND WILL BE ABLE TO BE USED FOR A WIDE VARIETY OF TASKS. THANKS FOR THE INTEREST. V.

how does the BH hunt? I have heard of some that are open o trail and dont just leave when they find what they are looking for. I think if you got one like that and crossed it with a real nice tree dog and you would have it all. but I thikn they would be perfect for finding wounded game. if it wasnt illegal in Nevada to find wounded deer with dogs, I would be training my GSP for it like they do in the field trials in Europe.

HUNT

THE BLOODHOUND OPENS ON TRACK AND BAYS AT THE END OF THE TRAIL. IF WHATEVER HE IS RUNNING CLIMBS, HE WILL TREE BY SITE. V.

No, they would be cross breeds since the bloodhound isn't a registered redbone

Majestics

Nice looking pups. We have a AKC Bloodhound and she also meets Majestic Standards. Check out our website. She is on the female webpage and it will be updated this evening with her photo of her treeing. She is very nice girl. We have other pics of our Majestics. Great dogs and great hunters. My husband hunts coon and bear with them.

Our Majestics

This is brother and sister. They are out of Kong and just turned a year old. Ice is the one on the tree. I usually pair Ice out with my Yadkin River walker. They do well together.

Magnum, the one to the left, chops every breath and just throws the slobber. They are both coming along nicely.

We also have a nice dark black and tan bloodhound that we started on coon. She went crazy. She has been in a kennel for the past two years with no one fooling with her. We brought her home and man does she have a pretty voice. Big and loud bawl. She is real gamey too. She has the Griffin bloodlines.
