Please read and give imput
I am from Mississippi We do not have any UKC hunts this mounth due to turkey season.My cousin drove 3hrs to a Hunt in Cullman Al.He had his UKC papers but did not have quick entry card Hounds man would not let him huntfor not haveing entry card but he had his UKC papers.He got impression when he arrived there they did not weant him there asked him could he not find a hunt closer to his house.Is this ligit or was this a local club thing and they was trying to keep him from hunting for personal reasons please reply back kinda rubbs you wrong with gas prices as high as they are now.

He and my son and myself went to Reform Al. last Fri to a UKC hunt and you could not ask for any better guys.They invited us to come back the next night for a money hunt After we had won the hunt for Fri night they still was asked us to come back and was happy to have hunters come from away to there local club

Was the dog registered in his name? If not, he would either have to have an easy entry card or have writen permission from the owner on the papers before he could hunt the dog. I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago & that is the way it was explained to me, but if the dog was registered in his name & he had the papers there's no reason that he could'nt of hunted & UKC should be notified.

IF THE PAPERS WERE IN SOMEONE NAME AND AS LONG AS THEY WERE NOT PUPPY PAPERS ALL HE HAD TO DO IS FILL THEM OUT IN HIS NAME ANE DATE IT.JUST LIKE HE WAS GOING TO SEND THEM IN.THEY HAVE TO TAKE THEM.IF LIKE YOU SAID HAPPENED TURN THEM IN.THAT IS NOT THE WAY IT WORKS.WHEN ANYONE HAS A NIGHT HUNT OR SHOW THEY REPRESENT UKC AND ALL THE OTHERS THAT HUNT.BUT AS I SAID TURN THEM IN.

I think Bushtrapper has the correct version. If he had the easy entry card you can hunt the dog in someone elses name. If you don't the papers have to be in your name.
If the papers have been signed by the seller, then you can fill out the papers in your name and hunt him. I think only once though. The Master of Hounds is supposed to initial it.
Come to Ashford, Al. We will be glad to have more entries at our hunts.

if the papers are in his name their is no reason to turn him away but if the papers where still in the other guys name the only way he could hunt the dog is if he had the e-z entry card and then he could only be put down as a handler. sould look in to befor driving 3 hours with gas the way it is.

Chris is right.If the seller had signed his name,all the new owner had to do, was fill out the papers like he was gonna send them off.This guy got the shaft.He will be like alot of folks I know, he will never go back to Cullman.
