Just wanted to say thanks to Joe Newlin for my new pup out of Hit Man and Powder. I snapped a few pictures of him this afternoon while he was playing in the yard. He's wide open!

Good looking pup, Ive got a Joker pup here just a little over 2 yrs old , as of last night $280.00+/- won In PKC put 60.00 on her last night at CedarGrove N.C. shes the total package fast to strike runs to catch, likes to be alone and has the coon.If it can be worked out she will be bred to Hitman when she comes back in.Good luck with your pup. Got a call last night and momma was four for four. Cell phone signal sucked, but I could hear little miss Powder screaming out she had another one in the background.....

If these pups get a chance, they should be coon treeing kinda dogs! Color don't matter....they all look good bellied up against a tree with the meat!

I'll get that package off to you soon.

Sore! That's a big ole needle they use to do that test....

The good news is that I got them danged ole medical heads convinced that you can't follow these Clover bred dogs and have clogged up arteries!

Blood pressure is coming down, heart is healthy, and now all I've got to do is to get my knee in working order...The way I see it Oreo is going to have me needing a good knee in about four months! After everyone left Sunday morning, I let Oreo run free there at the fairgrounds....I had to go looking for her, and she's only 10 weeks old!

Joe Glad to hear the ticker is well! Get that new Bionic knee and you'll be back to hunting harder than someone thirty years younger. Congrats on your win. I have one out of Powder and Joker, he is gonna be something else. I am very excited about him. Because of him I finally did something that Joe had been trying to get me to do for a couple years. I got rid of the poop machines I was feeding and have got down to just Jester and a Redtick male, (I have him given away to a young hunter, as soon as he gets moved) Jester will be getting every ounce of my attention. I have everything in order to get some permits here so that I can hunt Jester during our quiet season. it'll be kind of boring hunting the two same 40 acre patches, but it beats the kennel for 3 months.

Out of all of the pups that I've raised out of my current stock of dogs, I've had two blanket backed, tan headed pups in the past three years.

I gave both of them away cause nobody wanted them! Fact is, one of them was given back to me...

I can't sell "purty" dogs...... I'll have some open spotted pups. Have two females bred now besides Julie. Made a repeat cross on Joker X Ruby a couple of weeks ago, and Peg, one of my Joker females is in with Hit Man as we speak.... Now those ought to be action packed!
