Advice Needed Dog With Cloudy Eye!!!!!!

Hey guys I have a young dog whose right eyeball was scratched
by a coon about 7 to 8 days ago. He developed a bluish/gray
area to the outside corner of his eye that had a blood streak/scratch down the outside of it I went to the vet and he prescribed two different tubes of ointment and told me to give him some penicillin....well thats what I did the blood streak disappeared but the blue/gray spot is still there and isn't diminishing the dog can still see out of the eye anyways anyone
have any ideas. I'm absolutely sure he doesn't have 'Blasto' I saw the coon kicking at his face. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

Mine did the same 2 weeks to heal and the gray went awat slowly.

I would just keep putting the ointment on it. Same thing happened to me female and it also went away....

Don't worry

A coon bit my young male Plott on the top of his head just above the eye & he had to have surgery. His whole eye turned bluish. The Vet said it was from nerve damage. His eye is perfecly normal now - it took about 9 weeks to clear up. Just keep using the ointment the Vet gave you for the length of time your Vet recommends.

Jeff, yes I've heard of Allen Moses and his Plott dogs, I've heard a lot of good things! Never had the pleasure to meet or hunt with him though.

Danielle...Allen and me hunt together and me and his brother Kevin hunt together they have some of the best hounds I've
ever hunted with of any breed. Looks like you have some nice
hounds yourself.
