I haven't hunted with him, but many dogs out of him. Personally, I think he was a better reproducer than his more famous 1/2 brother. One thing about the Drifter dogs though and this is by no means has anything to do with their coon treeing ability. They tended to have narrow face. JMO from what I have seen.

I have talked to people who have hunted with him, they said they may as well go home, he was so loud noway to hear the other dogs, short bawls on the tree, steady, loudest dog, great reproducer.

OVER TIME

Time is a supernice hound. He has pups in WV doing good. He should cross well on your female. Congrates on the RQE. Tell Brian that 12 is as good as 1200. Your in the dance, see you in 2 weeks to get my pups. The boy that is wanting the female is named Jordan Messer. He might come along. Good luck with you desicion on the cross. Always remember Trap will cross on anything.

l.a. i've been told by a couple other (i believe reputable breeders) the same thing

everything i have here is deanwood drifter blooded(whether thats good or bad is just opinion!!!!) and i have NO INTENTIONS of switching away nfrom this blood. the narrow face i wont argue with on some anyway, and maybe high/short eared. but they seem to me to be athletic long lived hounds, that have good noses, are good track dogs and have some common sense. and LUCKILY (here anyway) have been straight .

The word I always heard on them was that they were track dogs deluxe.
