question on youth hunts

on a youth hunt, is it treated as nite champion rules or open? and are circle points counted after all the plus points ( like if all cast winners, then do you move on to cirlce, before minus???) also can you have two spectators or just one? thanks!

is the youth hunt 18 and under or is 18 the cut off?

i do believe you have to be 17 and under. but i think you can have them as spectators if they want..

i know shannon wanted to hunt but he is 18, to bad for him. i wouldnt mind spectating with someone if anybody wants to bring a spectator.

i am hunting and i will take anyone who wants to spectate. i am still trying to find a dog to hunt, cause i mine just ain't ready for the competition hunts yet!

i can call them pretty good, last year i hunt my friends walker, he is bawl on track and chop tree, i would have placed high in the hunt if he would have treed anything but dens the whole night. only dog to tree in the cast. i hunted with an all bawl mouth blue last weekend at the rqe and i called him treed in my head before the handler everytime and i have never hunted with him before! i am really good at calling them if i hunt with them once or twice before, depending on their voice! but you can definately spectate if you want!

there a lot easier to call when your not the one that takes the hit when your wrong.

yeah i guess! when i screw up and take some minus i just try really hard to get it back! Joe screws with my head all the time when he is out hunting, if i had him in the competition hunts i would probably always be taking some minus! lol

Youth Nite Hunts run under Nite & Grand Champion Rules. Same as an RQE, because dogs of all titles are hunting together.

In in the event of a Tie at the end of the 2hr hunt and all cast members are tied the dog with the least amount of Minus Points will win. If still tied dog with the most Plus Tree Points. If still tied the dog with the most Plus Strike points. If still tied, dog with the most Circle Tree points. If still tied dog with the most Circle Strike Points.

Only Youth 17 Years Old and Under are able to Participate. No matter if the Youth Qualified for the Nationals while they were 17, 18yrs is the cut off.
